China-Germany Media Forum Held in Berlin

-

Berlin (TDI): The 15th Media Forum China-Germany organized in Berlin from October 14 to 16, bringing together prominent media figures, journalists, scholars, and youth representatives from both countries.

The event, arranged by the leading Chinese media outlet Global Times, served as a platform for in-depth discussions on media-related challenges, as well as broader global issues.

Key topics at the forum included global security concerns, “deglobalization” and “decoupling,” the electric vehicle industry, climate change, and the role of artificial intelligence in shaping global governance.

The forum aims to foster mutual understanding and collaboration between media outlets in China and Germany, with the ultimate goal of enhancing people-to-people ties between the two nations.

In his opening address, Fan Zhengwei, Secretary of the Party Committee, President, and Editor-in-Chief of the Global Times, highlighted the importance of the event, particularly as 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Germany.
