Beijing, 27 November 2021 (TDI): China-Africa health diplomacy has strengthened the bilateral cooperation of the two sides.
China has been the biggest partner of the African continent for quite some years.
Their health cooperation has helped them to further strengthen their bilateral relations.
Over 23, 000 Chinese medical workers have worked in the African continent. They have assisted the Africans in the health department. During the last 58 years, Chinese workers have treated almost 230 million patients in the African states.
China continues to help Africa during the Pandemic
Chinese medical workers have created medical centers consisting of small hospitals to assist the patients. China also remains committed to facilitating the Africans during the pandemic. It took the leading role to help the African states in the Coronavirus pandemic. China provided millions of doses of vaccines to the African states in their anti-pandemic fight.
It also sent its medical workers to the African Continent to help the vulnerable states in the pandemic.
At present, the Chinese health mission is working in the 45 African states. Over 1000 Chinese workers are assisting in these countries.
They have created 98 medical centers in these states to continue their work for the betterment of humanity.
Chinese assistance in health to the African states has deepened the trust of the African states in China. The African states do not believe in foreign propaganda against the Chinese cooperation with the African countries. They acknowledge that China is playing a positive role in the development of the African continent.
China has put huge significance on the African countries. It is one of the biggest trading partners of the African states. China aims to build a better Africa by assisting it. It has also launched its multi-billion project of the Belt and Road Initiative. China is enhancing its cooperation in several fields with the African states under the framework of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). The two sides further aim to strengthen their relations by expanding their cooperation.
