The China Africa Business Council Center (CABC) inaugurated in Uganda

Kampala, 26 October 2021 (TDI): The State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatization of Uganda, Hon Anite Evelyn inaugurated the China Africa Business Council Center (CABC) in Uganda.

It was hosted by the Tiang Tang group at Lugogo, Kampala. Tiang Tang group is a manufacturer of steel products and is located in Mukono Mbalala.

CABC is an organization dedicated to the economic development of Africa. A total of 500 companies are part of the organization. The companies invest and do business in Africa as well as host institutionalized bilateral forums.

Meeting between the participants

During the event, The Minister encouraged the CABC to work with the government of Uganda. On behalf of her country, she underscored the need for strategic investments to develop Uganda.

China has increasingly strengthened ties with the African states, over the last decade. The CABC is the embodiment of the relations between the two. They share a mutually beneficial economic, political, and regional alliance.
