Beirut, 8 October 2021 (TDI): The Lebanese Minister of Telecommunication, Johnny Corm met with the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Ian Collard. The UK has been a steadfast partner of Lebanon in the international political arena.
The bilateral relations between UK and Lebanon are multi-dimensional and are of cordial nature.
Primarily, both countries cooperate in trade and economy. The UK supports the necessity for economic reforms in Lebanon for eventual prosperity. The ties between the two partners have been strengthening over the years.
In addition to that, the UK has provided aid worth over £740 million to Lebanon. Ever since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, UK has worked with Lebanon to promote stability in the country by helping refugees and defenseless people.
