Blinken called UK Foreign Secretary

Washington, 6 August 2021 (TDI): The Secretary of the United States of America, Antony J. Blinken held a telephonic contact with the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, Dominic Raab, on Wednesday. They talked about the contemporary efforts in responding to Iran’s attack on Mercer Street. It was a commercial ship, attacked during its travel through international waters in the northern Arabian Sea. Blinken extended his condolences on the death of a UK citizen and the Romanian captain.
