Washington, 22 September 2021 (TDI): The U.S State Secretary Antony J. Blinken called his Mexican counterpart Marcelo Ebrard on Monday. Both the officials discussed coordinating efforts to manage irregular migrations between America and Mexico.
During the meeting, Secretary Blinken expressed his concerns about the hazards of illegal cross-border migrations. Both the officials deliberated over ways to address challenges posed by irregular migration across the border.
Under Biden Administration, the US is working to constitute an orderly migration system. Under this initiative, the USA has returned thousands of Mexican migrants under its Migrant Protection Protocols.
