On Wednesday, Belgium Embassy to Pakistan congratulated Belgian mountaineer Niels Jaspers on conquering K2.
The embassy told Jaspers that he is more than welcome at the Embassy in Islamabad to celebrate this incredible performance.
Niels Jaspers is the first Belgian to achieve this success without using supplemental oxygen. Last week, Niels Jaspers reached the summit of the broad peak in Pakistan.
