China’s Northwest University is all set to open a new school of heritage, culture, and art in collaboration with Italy’s University of Salento in Xi’an city China.
The aim to open this school is to use the resources to give a platform to talented people along with boosting scientific research between the two states. Italy and China as the two states with the most heritage sites, as declared by UNESCO, are now collaborating to open their first-ever Cultural Heritage school together.
Wen Rui, Vice-President of the School of Cultural Heritage in NWU, said the new institution will devote itself to collaborative training in relic preservation and the fine arts. Wen further mentioned that the school will focus on relic and artifact preservation from the states along the BRI route to promote international talent development and scientific research platform.
