Beijing (TDI): Beijing Daxing International Airport has recorded over one million entries and exits of foreign nationals this year, setting a new milestone in the airport’s history, according to the immigration inspection station.
The surge follows the implementation of policies designed to ease travel for foreigners, including expanding visa-free access to more countries.
These measures have significantly boosted international arrivals, attracting travelers from across the globe.
Currently, Daxing airport operates flights to 43 international and regional destinations across 25 countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

During the winter-spring flight season, it plans to launch new routes to Sydney, Melbourne, Vientiane, and Casablanca, as well as expand connections to Africa and North America.
The frequency of flights to Russia and the Middle East is also set to increase.

The airport is one of nine ports in China authorized by the National Immigration Administration to offer 24-hour direct transit for foreign nationals without requiring border checks.
