Rome, 29 September 2021 (TDI): Ambassador of Bangladesh, Shameem Ahsan held a meeting with the Central Director of Global Affairs Division, Alessandro Modiano. They met at the Italian Foreign Ministry.
Both parties had a major discussion on the upcoming G20 Summit. The topic of the G20 Social Science and Humanities Summit 2021 will be “Crisis.” While for Science G20 Summit 2021, it will be “Preparing for Pandemic.” Both summits will be held concurrently in the run-up to the G20 Leaders’ Summit 2021. This is the sixteenth G20 Summit that will take place in Rome from 30th to 31st October.
Other than that, many important issues of international importance were discussed. The two leaders shed light on the post-pandemic world. They discussed ways to improve the conditions of countries that are severely hit by Covid-19.
