Dhaka, 13 August 2021 (TDI): China’s efforts of providing vaccines to the world continue as Chinese vaccines reached Bangladesh under the COVAX program.
Bangladeshi health experts appreciated the efforts of China as Bangladesh received 1.7 million Chinese COVID-19 vaccines on Tuesday. Two more consignments are expected to reach Bangladesh within this week.
The experts said that the arrival of these vaccines portrays the commitment of the Chinese nation to provide vaccines globally.M Mushtuq Husain, the representative of the Bangladesh Health Ministry, mentioned that every vaccine is important for Bangladesh’s vaccine campaign. He also thanked China for sending the vaccines.
Muzaherul Huq, the former advisor at WHO, also appreciated China’s efforts of providing vaccines globally. He mentioned that such a campaign will help the poor states to save their people from this deadly virus.
The Vice FM of China, Ma Zhaoxu, on Friday, informed that China has delivered about 800 million doses of COVID19 vaccines globally especially to the developing states to support them in their fight against COVID.
