Azerbaijan’s Ambassador meets Additional Secretary Afghanistan & West Asia

Islamabad, 30 September 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Khazar Farahdov met with the Additional Secretary Afghanistan and West Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Aamar Aftab Qureshi.

The two officials had a long meeting on the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. They came up with policies and ways to tackle the challenges that this relationship might face. Moreover, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan expressed his will to cooperate with Pakistan in every aspect in order to enhance trade and investments.

Azerbaijan will remain one of Pakistan’s most stable former Soviet friends for the foreseeable future. Thanks to mutual support over territorial issues, a shared geopolitical view, and the prospect of leveraging each other’s bilateral partnerships.
