Azerbaijani Foreign Minister received by Serbian President

Belgrade, 12 October 2021 (TDI): The President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov at the 60th-anniversary event of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade.

During the gathering, both sides discussed the collaboration between Azerbaijan and Serbia. They also deliberated opinions on the potential strategic relationship. The significance of the agreements endorsed between the states and the commitment of these treaties to the development of relations between both states was also under discussion at the meeting.

Leader of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić requested to pass on his invitation to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to pay a visit to Serbia. The sides additionally discussed the global and regional matters of shared interest. Azerbaijan and Serbia are enjoying diplomatic relations since August 1997. They further want to enhance their bilateral ties especially in a way that benefits both the states.
