New York, 23 September 2021 (TDI): The U.S Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken had a meeting with the Brazilian Foreign Minister Carlos França on Monday. Both the officials met each other on the sidelines of the 76th United Nations General Assembly session.
During the meeting, U.S. State Secretary Blinken and Brazilian Foreign Minister Carlos França discussed issues of common interests that included cooperation on ‘global, regional, and bilateral issues.’ Both the leaders also discussed cooperation on the climate crisis, economic security, and ties.
The U.S State Secretary expressed his gratitude to Brazil for help in addressing the issue of regional migration. He also reiterated the USA’s commitment towards the efforts to end the global pandemic.
