Ankara, 13 August 2021 (TDI): On Friday, the Deputy Minister Ambassador of Turkey, Sedat Onal spoke over a phone call with US Deputy Secretary of State, Wendy Sherman.
During their conversation, the officials touched on the security situation in Afghanistan. Sherman also conveyed the US government’s condolences towards the Turkish people and government over the wildfires which have affected 38 different provinces of Turkey and caused 8 deaths.
Moreover, Sherman mentioned that the US government is proud to work with the Turkish authorities in all capacities.
