Cordoba, 9 October 2021 (TDI): On Thursday, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Argentina Muhammad Khalid Ejaz visited the Cordoba Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CaCEC) in Argentina. The ambassador discussed Pakistan-Argentina bilateral relations with the Chamber’s Vice Presidents, Luis Macario, and Marcelo Olmedo, respectively.
The meeting aimed at enhancing the trade and commercial relations between both states. Appreciating Pakistan’s cordial relations with the Argentine Republic, the Chamber representatives anticipated launching a cooperative initiative between their partner companies and Pakistan. During the meeting, Ambassador Ejaz also exhibited his interest in the enhancement of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
The Cordoba Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Argentina’s local organization of businesses and companies that promotes the interests of local companies or businesses in the country. The Chamber’s members are generally local and international operating companies, including airlines, banks, manufacturing companies, property developers, tourism companies, finance companies, import and export businesses, and electronics manufacturers. The main purpose of the Chamber is to share and safeguard business interests, besides contacting the governments, local media, civil society, and organizing trade-related events.
