Algiers, 28 August 2021 (TDI): On Saturday, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of Algeria, congratulated wrestler Cherine Abdellaoui on achieving the first gold medal for Algeria at the Paralympics Games in Tokyo.
The President wrote a congratulatory note on his official Twitter account. He offered warm congratulations to Abdellaoui and wished that she would set an example for her colleagues. On Friday, Cherine Abdelaoui won a gold medal by defeating Canadian Gagne Priscilla at Tokyo Paralympics Games 2020.
