Afghanistan takes Diplomatic Approach to reduce tensions with Tajikistan

Kabul, 7 October 2021 (TDI): According to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Information and Culture, diplomatic efforts were being considered to reduce tensions between Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

Rohullah Omari termed Tajikistan a nice neighbor. However, he said Kabul would not allow any country to violate Afghan land. He added that the Afghan Foreign Minister wants to have good relations with all the countries. This is why negotiations will be carried out with Tajikistan. Rohullah Omari is a member of the cultural commission of the ministry in Afghanistan.

Hamid Obaidi, an expert on international relations says that the tensions between Tajikistan and Afghanistan won’t benefit anyone. They should be resolved through mutually agreed-upon policies and friendly gestures.
