Kabul, 15 August 2021 (TDI): Interior Minister of Afghanistan Abdul Sattar Mirzkawal confirmed the peaceful transition of governments today in a video message.
The Minister assured the people of Kabul that the city will be protected at any cost and the transition of government will be done peacefully. The announcement was made when the Taliban have reached the outskirts of the city. Reportedly, the transitional administration will likely consist of Taliban leaders and Ghani’s cabinet.
