Kabul, 2 August 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan has conveyed Afghanistan’s warmest congratulations and sincere wishes to Switzerland on Swiss National Day on Sunday, 1st August through Twitter.
Switzerland celebrates its National day on 1st August every year since 1891, which refers to the formation of the historic alliance by Uri, Schwyz, and Unterwalden. This date marks the anniversary of the Federal Charter of 1921 when Uri, Schwyz, and Unterwalden took the oath of confederation, which subsequently laid the basis for the foundation of Switzerland.
