Seoul, 4 September 2021 (TDI): Lee Miyon, the Director-General for Bilateral Economic Affairs of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Yang Weiqun attended the 25th Korea-China Meeting for Comprehensive Review of Economic Cooperation held virtually.
Leading their respective delegations, the two sides comprehensively reviewed the progress in bilateral economic cooperation and diplomatic exchange of views on future cooperation.
Both appreciated their close economic cooperation despite the global recession due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The two sides agreed to continue to communicate closely on ways to promote regional and multilateral cooperation.
