13th CJCSC Open Golf Championship 2023


Karachi, 14 December 2023 (TDI): The 13th CJCSC Open Golf Championship was played at Karsaz Golf Club Karachi from 9 Dec to 12 December 2023. A large number of golfers from across the country participated.

After the Championship, prizes were distributed among the winners by the Chief Guest, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, HI, TBt.

Brig (retd) Nasrullah Khan Warraich SI (M) of Rawalpindi Golf Club bagged the First Net Prize in the Senior Amateurs Category with a net 143 score while Jamil won gross with a 145 score.
In the amaeturs, category Junaid secured the first net with a 209 net score while Nauman won the first gross with a 223 score.

Among the ladies, Nida Aarfeen won net with a 143 score, and Ania Farooq won gross with a 145 score.

In the professional category, Muhammad Shabbir played 22 under and won first position with a 266 score while Ahmed Beg was second after playing 14 under with a score of 274.
Minhaj Warraich played 6 under with a score of 282 and was in 5th position.

One speciality of the Championship was a handsome amount of Rs 1.2 million as prize money besides two cars for a hole-in-one and a heavy bike for a lucky draw.

Senior Golfer of Rawalpindi Golf Club Brig Nasrullah Khan Warraich was lucky to win three main championships in two months. Brigadier was 2nd runner-up in the COAS Championship held from 10 – 15 October 2023, while he won First Net in the Federal Open Golf Championship held from 12 – 15 Nov 2023.
