Beijing, July 11, 2023 (TDI): Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Initiatives, Professor Ahsan Iqbal, and Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Cong Liang, co-chaired the 12th (Special) Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

 

This JCC aimed to focus on the significance of key projects in energy, IT, transportation, and infrastructure development.

This project is now in progress and offers numerous opportunities for socio-economic growth in Pakistan.

During the JCC meeting, the participants acknowledged the pivotal role of CPEC projects in propelling Pakistan’s progress.

This development boosts industrial productivity, economic expansion, and living standards in Pakistan.

The CPEC IT projects in Pakistan boost innovation, connectivity, and industry growth. These initiatives create employment, stimulate economic growth, and modernize infrastructure.

The JCC meeting also highlighted that CPEC transportation projects improve Pakistan’s connectivity. It also facilitates trade, boosts tourism, and promotes regional business activities.

This also includes establishing modern road networks, highways, and motorways.

The JCC also underscored the infrastructure development projects that have been successfully developed under the CPEC umbrella.
