Beijing (TDI): A new report from a leading Chinese think tank highlighted that Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization has offered fresh ideas and practical approaches to help address the world’s ongoing sustainability challenges.
According to the study, titled “Joining Hands to Advance Toward an Eco-Friendly Modernization — The Theoretical Contributions and Practical Leadership of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization to Global Sustainable Development,” this body of thought reflects a deep grasp of how human civilization evolves and how global development trends are shifting. It also embodies extensive reflection on how countries can pursue sustainable development together.
The report notes that Xi’s ecological vision introduces a new way of thinking about modernization, one that prioritizes harmony between people and nature.
The authors argue that this framework could help guide the international community toward a cleaner, more beautiful, and more prosperous future.

Jointly prepared by the National High-Level Think Tank of Xinhua News Agency and the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, the document says the theory has broadened the intellectual landscape of sustainability studies.
It adds that the concept has reshaped existing approaches and formed a scientific system of ideas that can provide guidance for global sustainable development efforts.
