Xi extend felicitations to President of Vietnam on Re- election


Beijing: 27 July 2021 (TDI): On Monday the Chinese President Xi Jinping extend a congratulatory message to the re-elected President of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc. The National Assembly of Vietnam re-elected Phuc as state president and Chinh as prime minister for the years 2021-2026.

In his congratulatory message Xi emphasized the bond between the two nations and mentioned that China and Vietnam are socialist neighbors who are linked via mountains and rivers. He also mentioned that the two sides have always been there for each other even in times of pandemic. Xi also expressed his desire to enhance relations between China and Vietnam and also between CPC and the Vietnamese communist party with collaboration from both sides.

Along with this Chinese premier Li Keqiang also sent a congratulatory message to the re-elected prime minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, on Monday. In his message, Li stated that he desires to cooperate with the Vietnamese president to enhance and improve political mutual trust, hasten the synchronization of their development objectives, and seek collective gain and win-win outcomes.
