Beijing (TDI): Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Singapore’s Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday, emphasizing the need to align development strategies and deepen bilateral cooperation.

The meeting, held in Beijing, highlighted the strides made in China-Singapore relations, particularly under Lee’s tenure as prime minister.

Describing it as a landmark of bilateral cooperation, Xi noted that the park reflects Singapore’s active role in China’s reform and economic opening.

“China remains committed to pursuing high-quality development and is confident in sustaining robust economic momentum over the long term,” Xi remarked.

He invited Singapore to continue spearheading cooperation efforts, particularly in digital and green development, to explore new opportunities in their bilateral partnership.
