Karachi, 18 August 2021 (TDI): On 17 August 2021, Dr. Palitha Mahipala, during a visit to the walk-in vaccination facility for Covid-19 at Benazir Shaheed Park Clifton, advised the people to get vaccinated while it is available free of cost.
Palitha Mahipala is the current World Health Organization Representative for Pakistan. He is conducting a series of meetings with the government of Sindh in case of coronavirus pandemic and measures taken to fight it.
During his visit, he has also met with CM Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, and handed over a collection of health and medical supplies to the provincial health minister to Sindh, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho.
