Munich, 19 February 2024 (TDI): Vice President Kamala Harris met Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky on 17th February after the Munich Security Conference 2024 to discuss the Russia-Ukraine conflicts.
The Munich Security Conference was held in Germany on 16th-18th February. Including G7 Countries many other leaders and Businesspeople participated. They discuss the ongoing conflicts, Climate change, and International Security Concern.
“It was an honor to meet with President Zelensky again. Our first meeting was at the 2022 Munich Security Conference on the eve of Russia’s invasion. Two years later, Kyiv stands free and strong. Under the President and me, the USA will continue to stand with Ukraine,” Kamala Harris said.
Additionally, she said that it would be a failure for Russia to a War with Ukraine by Putin. The USA always defends the basic rights of sovereignty with the help of the World support. The USA always supports democracy instead of an Authoritarian regime.
“We want to see Ukraine emerge from this War as a nation that is free, democratic, and independent,” Kamala Harris added.
Moreover, she said, “When we talk about the role of America as it relates to our support for Ukraine, we must be unwavering, and we cannot play the political game”.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said, “Each patriot system not only saves hundreds and thousands of lives but also allows our cities and thus our economy to work normally”.
President Zelensky believed on addressing Security Concern that for any economically independent country, air defense is a key element.
Further, he said, “Of course, the key issue for us now is to preserve the principled American support”. He added that Ukraine and its people look at positive votes and support packages.
According to reports, both leaders discussed the modification and preparation for the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.
Additionally, President Zelensky said that “this year, the US needs to confiscate Russian assets and impose further sanctions on Russia to protect against Russian terror, as Putin prioritizes money and power over human life”.
According to reports, “Both leaders discussed Security and resilience. Kamala Harris admired Ukraine’s progress in Euro-Atlantic integration. She also urged them to keep fighting corruption and make their democratic system stronger”.
Further, they said, “Doing this will make investors more confident in Ukraine and help the country rebuild quickly once Russia stops its illegal action”.
