Seoul, 7 September 2021 (TDI): Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Choi Jong Kun met with the Colombian Ambassador to Korea, Juan Caiza on Friday, September 3. The two sides exchanged views on the outcomes of the recent state visit to Korea by Colombian President, Ivan Duque Marquez and the follow-up measures with the Korea-Colombia summit.
Choi appreciated the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Strategic Cooperative Partnership between South Korea and Columbia. Recognizing the valuable opportunity for further dialogue, aims for future bilateral relations following the recent Colombian President’s visit to Korea were guaranteed.
Likewise, Caiza responded with the hope to strengthen their bilateral cooperation and further development with South Korea in areas such as healthcare, trade and investment, and digital transformation.
