Tashkent, 26 August 2021 (TDI): Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, had a telephone conversation with Andrzej Duda, President of Poland. During the meeting, both parties had an in-depth discussion about matters of mutual benefits, regional peace, and security.
Both sides underscored the contemporary security situation in the region in light of the unfolding scenario in Afghanistan. They decided to keep a close eye on developments in Afghanistan and expressed their support for an inclusive political settlement in the country.
