Islamabad, 31 August 2021 (TDI): On Monday, the US Consul General in Karachi, Mark Stroh, paid a visit to the mausoleum of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Consul General laid a wreath and paid tribute to the founder of Pakistan and signed the guest book. He also prayed for the founder’s eternal peace at his mausoleum. He stated that he is honored to visit Jinnah’s mausoleum and noted that the friendship between Pakistan and the USA reflects shared values, aspirations, and visions. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was the first Governor-General of Pakistan who took the lead in the struggle to acquire an independent country Pakistan for Muslims in the subcontinent. He is also known as the Father of the Nation.
Following the visit to Mazar-e-Quaid, US Consul General Karachi also visited the tombs of Pakistan’s first Prime Minister Liaquat Ali Khan, and Quaid-e-Azam’s sister Fatima Jinnah.
