Kabul, 18 August 2021 (TDI): Contrary to the reports, Chargé d’Affaires Ross Wilson and the personnel of the US Embassy in Kabul remain in the city, as stated by Wilson in a tweet on 17 August 2021. Wilson further stated that they are working hard to assist thousands of US residents and vulnerable Afghans as their engagement and dedication to the Afghan people continues.
