The former Prime Minister emphasized the importance of relations between Pakistan and America. Both leaders also discussed the political and economic situation of Pakistan, especially the preparations for the general elections.

The US Ambassador and Nawaz Sharif engaged in diverse topics of mutual interest, including trade, the economy, climate change, security, and regional stability.
