United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen arrives in Iran

Tehran, 2 November 2021 (TDI): Ali Asghar Khaji, a senior counselor to Iran’s Foreign Minister in political affairs, and Hans Grundberg, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Yemen held discussions in Tehran on Monday.

In this line, Khaji and Grundberg talked about various parts of the Yemeni emergency and the most recent improvements in the country. As well, the senior official to Iran’s Minister noticed that the ultimate conclusion concerning Yemen lies with its people.

Furthermore, Khaji added that the initial move toward settling the Yemen emergency through political means is the lifting of the abusive attack of the country. He additionally talked about the UN’s part in Yemen. He said the current problem is the missing connection of progress in dealings pointed toward finishing the Yemen struggle.
