Islamabad, 13 September 2021 (TDI): On Sunday, September 12, 2021, Humanitarian workers reached Kabul from Islamabad. The flights that carried the humanitarian workers to Kabul were through UN Humanitarian Air Service.
World Food Program (WFP) manages the UNHAS. It is offering benign and consistent passenger and air transport for the humanitarian community to people in need. The Flights on 12th-September 2021, connected Islamabad to Mazar-i-Sharif, Herat, and Kandahar.
WFP managed UN Humanitarian Air Service, provided the facility for 160 humanitarian organizations working in Afghanistan. The flight carrying the humanitarian worker from Islamabad to Different destinations in Islamabad is the 1st humanitarian passenger flight since 15th-August 2021.
The flight is one of the first steps to ensure equal and reliable humanitarian aid. Humanitarian workers are tirelessly working operating to ensure the implementation of suitable Refugee hospitality.
