Ukrainian President meets his US Counterpart

Washington, 2 September 2021 (TDI): The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, along with Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, held a detailed meeting with the President of the United States of America, Joe Biden. They discussed the foremost agenda of international affairs i.e. security issues.

Foreign Minister of Ukraine stated that he released a joint statement with State Secretary of US, Antony Blinken, to implement the renewed US-Ukraine Strategic Partnership Commission. Ukrainian President stated that priority security areas remain Donbas, occupied Crimea, Black Sea-Azov region and Ukraine. Ukrainian side also handed over a list of 450 detained Ukrainians to the US government for their urgent release.

In addition, the Ukrainian President expresses gratitude to his US counterpart for supporting the territorial integrity and also helping to counter Russian aggression. He was confident that both parties will move together towards the integration of the European Union and NATO as well.
