Tokyo, 26 August 2021 (TDI): On Tuesday, Ukrainian athletes brought eight medals for the country, one of which is Gold. Yelyzaveta Mereshko received a gold medal in swimming and made a paralympic record. With that, Artem Manko and Olena Fedota in fencing got silver medals. Also, Anton Kol, Oleksii Virchenko, and Maksym Krypak in swimming received silver medals. While Anna Hontar in swimming and Yevheniia Breus in fencing received Bronze medals.
The Tokyo Paralympics started on 24 August and will continue till 5 September 2021. Ukraine has sent 143 athletes who will participate in 15 sports in the Tokoyo 2020 Paralympics.
