Abu Dhabi, 18 August 2021 (TDI): On Wednesday, UAE sent its first plane that carries foodstuffs and goods in cooperation with the World Food Program to the Ethiopian province, Tigray.
This relief aid was sent with reference to support the humanitarian needs and assisting the requirements of the Ethiopian people. Cooperating with the United Nations Organization, UAE will support the situation in the region to overcome the humanitarian crisis.
Moreover, UAE conveyed its solidarity with the Ethiopian people and assured them to keep supporting their humanitarian needs.
