Abu Dhabi, 30 June 2022 (TDI): The UAE minister of state, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, met with the president of Mozambique, His Excellency Filipe Nyusi.

The two parties discussed ways to advance their bilateral ties in a number of areas.

The UAE’s minister of state delivered the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Additionally, he sent His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, greetings to His Excellency Filipe.

He conveyed their hopes for further advancement and prosperity for their nation and people. His Excellency, on behalf of Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan, Filipe Nyusi, sent congratulations and well wishes to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

He wished for the UAE’s government and people to continue to flourish and expand.

Furthermore, His Excellency, Filipe Nyusi, acknowledged the solid and enduring ties that exist between the two nations.

He also welcomed the positive collaboration at all levels. In this regard, he highlighted the numerous chances to fortify connections in several industries.‏

UAE-Mozambique discussion

For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan emphasized the ongoing growth of ties between the UAE and the Republic of Mozambique. He emphasized that there are several chances to strengthen connections for the benefit of both nations.

Moreover, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan met with Verónica Macamo, the Republic of Mozambique’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The two dignitaries discussed the excellent relationship between the UAE and Mozambique. They also discussed how to improve them.

As a result, the two presidents agreed to form a joint committee for bilateral cooperation in a variety of disciplines. In light of this, they signed a memorandum of agreement to that effect.

Therefore, the formation of a joint committee will strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
