Abu Dhabi, 18 August 2021 (TDI): The official Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of UAE expressed concerns for stability and peace in Afghanistan on Sunday as the Taliban rapidly took over Afghanistan, including its capital, Kabul.
UAE stated that it is following all the developments regarding the situation going on in Afghanistan. It also expressed that there is a need for stability and security in the country. As human rights and protection of people are paramount of paramount importance, UAE hopes Afghan parties and officials would facilitate the efforts in bringing peace and stability to the country.
