U.S. Secretary State meets Singapore’s Foreign Minister

Washington DC, 28 September 2021 (TDI): U.S Secretary State, Antony J. Blinken met with his Singaporean counterpart, Vivian Balakrishnan.

Both the officials by reaffirming the partnership between U.S and Singapore also signed an MOU renewing the fourth cycle of the Third Country Training Program. They also deliberated over cooperation in areas including, space, climate change response, cyber security cooperation, and supply chain resilience.

After the meeting, Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan expressed his gratitude to the U.S secretary for hosting him and invited him to Singapore.
