U.S donates vaccines to Congo

Washington, 28 August 2021 (TDI): The US donates 151,200 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the Republic of Congo through the COVAX facility.

The US administration believes in promoting the international vaccination process.

The State Department says that the country is working with the Gavi Vaccine Alliance and the African Union to curb the spread of the pandemic in Africa.

Earlier today, the US donated one million doses of vaccine to Angola as well.
