Islamabad, 21 March 2022 (TDI):  The Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavusoglu arrives in the Federal Capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, to attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers’ 48th Session.

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Syed Fakhar Imam received the dignitary. The Foreign Minister’s airplane landed at the Pakistan Air Force Base Noor Khan.

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu took to his official Twitter account too informing about his safe landing in Pakistan.

OIC CFM 48th Session, Preparations, Arrivals, and Best Wishes

The OIC CFM’s 48th Session is scheduled to begin tomorrow i.e the 22nd of March 2022, in Islamabad. The preparations for the session have been completed.

The entire Federal Capital, generally and the National Assembly of Pakistan as well as the Shakarparian Parade Ground particularly, are all set as the venue.

The Foreign Ministers, the Foreign Delegations, and eminent Dignitaries have been arriving in Pakistan since today morning.

Not only that but in these days the Ambassador of various countries to Pakistan have also been sending in messages. The messages wished luck to Pakistan for hosting such a significant OIC CFM meeting.

The Ambassadors expressed their warm wishes via video messages. Among multiple Ambassadors, the Ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan, Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul also sent in a video message.

In the message initially, he congratulated the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for being the host. Additionally, he stated that his expectation is positive.

He is looking forward that an impactful and meaningful discussion will be held between all the member states of the OIC. He underscored the need to have such talks on the critical issues that the Islamic world is currently confronting.

“I hope we have fruitful results” from the meeting and session, were his remarks by the end of the video message.
