Ankara, 14 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu expresses positive and hopeful thoughts on the newly transitioned government of Afghanistan.
At the UN meeting, the Foreign Minister discussed the need for making humanitarian agencies work effectively in Kabul. He was hopeful that the current Afghan government will take all steps necessary for international peace. He also told that the embassy of Turkey is fully functional in Kabul.
Foreign Minister stated that Turkey and Qatar are working together to keep Kabul international airport open. He also expressed his optimism towards Kabul’s government and its efforts for becoming an independent representative body.
