Islamabad (TDI): Turkish Ambassador Irfan Neziroglu visited the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan headquarters on Friday, where he engaged in discussions with IPO-Pakistan Chairperson Ambassador (R) Furkh Amil and officials about enhancing bilateral cooperation in intellectual property.
The meeting focused on key areas such as trademark, patent, copyright protection, and geographical indications, emphasizing the importance of intellectual property for economic growth and development of both countries.
The visit marked a significant step in strengthening Pakistan-Turkiye ties, with a shared commitment to fostering innovations and economic uplift through better intellectual property rights.
The Turkish envoy emphasized the need for both nations to join forces to promote intellectual property rights and to create a favorable environment for businesses and innovators to thrive.

The IPO-Pakistan officials briefed the envoy on the organization’s initiatives to promote intellectual property rights, including its efforts to increase awareness, arrange training and capacity-building programs, and support the registration of intellectual property rights.
