Washington (TDI): On Tuesday, United States President Donald Trump said that he will not block Israel’s decision to take over Gaza.
The reporters asked Trump regarding the reports that say the Prime Minister of Israel, Netanyahu, has decided to occupy the whole Gaza territory.
Trump responded that Netanyahu is focused on getting “people fed” in Gaza. “As far as the rest of it, I really can’t say. That’s going to be pretty much up to Israel”, Trump added.
Trump also mentioned once again how much the US has been spending on Gaza aid, saying, “International law is clear in this regard. Gaza is and must remain an integral part of the future Palestinian state.”
Top Official of the United Nations, Miroslav Jenca, said that a complete occupation of Gaza by Israel is going to “risk catastrophic consequences.”
Jenca told the Security Council, “International law is clear in this regard. Gaza is and must remain an integral part of the future Palestinian state.”

The recent reports regarding Israel’s intention to occupy Gaza have surfaced amid growing international concern over the hunger and starvation in Gaza, which is resulting in malnutrition, as many people in Gaza are dying due to a shortage of food.
Israel has blocked all the aid entering Gaza since March and is only allowing a US-backed aid known as the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF), which can only be received at GHF sites.
Hundreds of Palestinians have recently been shot and killed as they were trying to reach GHF sites for aid, which are deep inside Israel’s lines of control.
Recently, Israel has allowed some aid trucks and air drops, but this amount of aid isn’t enough for the starving population of Gaza.
The Israeli military has also been accused of targeting and killing aid distributors. Israel’s assault on Gaza has so far killed more than 61,000 people and children and has bombed the entire Gaza Strip since the war to rights groups and UN experts have called it a genocide.
