Stockholm, 20 August 2021 (TDI): On 19 August 2021, The US Embassy in Stockholm paid tribute to the USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance for fighting humanitarian challenges around the world.
World Humanitarian Day is celebrated every year on August 19 to remember those who have sacrificed their lives for humanitarian causes. The Embassy remembered USAID and its partners for their efforts to fight challenges like climate change, COVID-19 pandemic, and various social conflicts.
