Trade Corridor, CARs Product Display Center Proposed in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, (TDI):  Minister for Investment Abdul Aleem Khan deliberates to set up product display center and extend the trade corridor services for Central Asian States through Pakistan.

His remarks came during a meeting with Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kastafin, in Islamabad.

Minister Khan highlighted that, in the current geopolitical climate, Pakistani products are an ideal option for Central Asian nations.

He proposed the establishment of industrial product display centers to facilitate trade, suggesting these centers could serve as hubs for foreign businesses to showcase and sell Pakistani goods.

This initiative, he said, would help elevate the country’s trade profile.

Khan also emphasized the importance of improved road infrastructure to attract foreign investment, which he identified as a key priority for Pakistan’s economic growth.

“Foreign investment is essential for economic progress, and Pakistan is keen to improve its infrastructure to create a more favorable investment environment,” he stated.

The minister further noted the historical, cultural, and religious ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, suggesting these shared bonds could play a pivotal role in strengthening bilateral relations.

Ambassador Kastafin echoed Khan’s sentiments, describing Kazakhstan’s robust trade and economic relations with Pakistan as mutually beneficial.

He expressed optimism about the future of this partnership, noting that both countries are likely to see tangible progress in their trade and investment ties in the near future.

Kastafin also expressed his satisfaction with his visit, calling the meeting with Khan “positive and welcoming,” and highlighted the potential for deeper cooperation between the two nations.
