Moscow, 24 August 2021 (TDI): Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, spoke over the phone with Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus.
Both parties addressed the outcome of the session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which was held by a videoconference. This session was focused on the evolving situation in Afghanistan. Both sides also underscored the significant aspects of Russian-Belarusian ties, particularly cooperation inside the Union State.
In the end, both leaders coordinated a schedule for their next talks.
