The Diplomatic Insight (TDI) is proud to be a national media partner of Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference (PIMEC) 2025 – the country’s flagship maritime event, which is happening at Karachi’s Expo Center from November 3-6, 2025.
The second edition of PIMEC is being organized by Pakistan’s Ministry of Maritime Affairs and co-organized by Badar Expo Solutions; under the patronage of Pakistan Navy. The first and inaugural edition happened in 2023.
As the national media partner, TDI aims to amplify the country’s maritime vision, the effort of the organizers, maritime innovation and sustainability, and the blue economy potential of Pakistan.
As a country with a coastline of 1000km and direct access to strategic warm waters, Pakistan’s coastal development has a long way to go, and PIMEC streamlines this potential by connecting maritime industry leaders and businesses (both national and international) with the government; opening avenues for investments and collaborations.
Coastal tourism, port logistics, modern fisheries, shoreline development, hydrocarbon extraction, marine biotechnology, and alternate ocean-based energy are some of the areas where the future of Pakistan’s blue economy lies.
178 exhibitors are displaying their services and products this year at the exhibition; 150 of which are local companies working in the maritime industry while 28 international firms are also showcasing their innovation and expertise.

133 foreign delegations from Europe, Asia, North America, South America and the Far East including representatives from 44 countries such as United Kingdom, Italy, Iran, Turkiye, KSA, Australia, Egypt and China are coming to attend this year’s event.
The four days of PIMEC will be buzzing with exhibition, B2B and B2G meetings, the International Maritime Conference (IMC), exclusive receptions, a gala dinner, and much more.
